My second exhibition in Pune!!! And this time, there were three times as many canvases!
The venue we chose was on the west-side of the town, an area dotted with schools and colleges and academies. 'Kala Chayya' is an Arts Centre, and is a popular venue for classes in music, dance, yoga, etc. It also houses two art galleries and of course, is very much on the art-beat of the regular Pune-ite.
Falguni and Satish Gokhale, owners of the award winning Elephant Design Studio hosted the preview evening and Alpana Kirloskar lit the lamp to inaugurate the show.....
Rajendra Shyam agreed to travel down to Pune for the preview since a large number of his canvases were to be displayed. I also show-cased the works of Durga Bai, Suresh Durve, Narmada Prasad, Ram Singh Urveti and a few others.
